The 2022 World Cup Is Upon Us!
Be a part of our 5v5 soccer tournament, support Abiding Love food pantry and Community First Village and celebrate with us this December!

The Tournament
The tournament will consist of 2 age groups, U7-U9 (ages 6 to 8) and U10-U12 (ages 9 to 11) and will be similar to the actual World Cup.
Each team will start off in a group stage. Every team is guaranteed three games. Teams may be coed. The top two will advance to Finals.
The winning team will get Austin FC gear. A team trophy and team photo will be on permanent display in the Parish Center. All players will get a customized cinch sack to take home.

A Portion of Profits Will go to Those in Need
It’s no doubt that there are people in our communities who need help. That’s why we’ve partnered with Mobile Loaves and Fishes’ Community First and Abiding Love Food Pantry to help bring shelter, food, and community to those who will need it most this winter.
Please bring canned food items to donate. Let’s help those in need this holiday season!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you want to be involved in any way or would like to help out, we could always use the extra hands! If you’re interested in soccer, being a referee in the games, want to keep track of scores, managing the scoreboard, directing kids and parents to their next game, or even if you have some great ideas of your own, we would love to have you! This tournament could also be a great thing to add to a resume, CV, or put down as community service hours.

The Tournament will be held at the NEW St. Catherine of Siena Soccer Field!
Age group U7-U9 will be held on December 3rd with the first game kicking off at 8:00am.
Age group U10-U12 will play on December 10th, starting at 8:00 am.

Don’t Forget These:
- Water and some snacks (There will be snacks and refreshments available at the tournament)
- If you plan to wear a team jersey or team uniform
- Cleats or turf shoes
- Shin guards
- Stretching and warming up before your games
- Know your team schedule – when and what country you’re playing against
- Know who will be playing in the World Cup so you can go watch them in Johnson Hall when your team is resting!
